Steve! When we saw DECKadence marine boat carpet at the boat show last year we thought it would be the perfect solution for replacing the weathered carpet in the cockpit of our 40′ Searay, and it has been. Extending the DECKadence onto the swim grid was also a great idea and is much more comfortable for swimming off of and for getting into or out of our tender. Our guests are constantly complimenting us on the choice and we love the customized border and our boat name inlaid in the swim grid piece which makes it very personalized.

Most importantly it feels TERRIFIC on bare feet and when we have experienced the occasional spill (Wine no doubt!) it no longer concerns us. We just hose it all off when I get back to the dock! Adding the snaps to the swim grid piece was also a good idea as it assures us it isn’t going anywhere in rough seas. I cut a slit to make access to the engine hatch easier but other than that it was a perfect fit when it arrived. We appreciate your efforts and love the product.

Hi Steve, yes we have been out on the boat several times and everybody loves the new product. Even some skeptical people were out there wearing bare feet for the first time this year.

Over the past year Steve and his firm have done work on both of our boats and produced 4′ x 6′ custom entry mats for our entertaining platform. The 13′ x 3′ swim grid on our 46 President is quite a showpiece with its customized logo/name standing out proudly and without any apparent stitching. The grid see’s a lot of real world use and the material and has been very durable.

All of the outside non skid surfaces on our 23.5′ Trophy have also mean improved with the addition of DECKadence. The Trophy is used for both fishing and commuting and we’ve found DECKadence product easy to install and maintain – always looking like new.

Although the service was offered, were able to produce our own patterns without too much trouble. Steve’s personal customer care is second to none and items came on time, as expected and at the quoted price.

We’ll use DECKadence on a couple other projects we have underway. There is no hesitation in recommending the crew at Henderson for all of your marine flooring needs.

I initially went to Steve Henderson of Henderson Floor Specialties Inc. for his expertise in matting and safe flooring solutions to try and find a solution for replacing my factory issued mats, I was not expecting to find a solution like DECKadence.

Not only are the safer, cleaner and easier to maintain they gave the interior of my boat a facelift and have allow my passengers and crew to safely move about the vessel worry free of trip hazards and with the comfort of a high end spa.

The Deckadence Marine Floor is the Real-Deal and by far the best product I’ve ever purchased for my boat.

I installed the Deckadence Marine flooring (myself) on my flats boat, and my open fishermen. In my flats boat, I also placed in my deck hatches and immediately noticed that the flare kit, bait boxes and fire extinguishers were stabilized. This was great because prior to that, if the wind shifted or the boat rocked my gear would tap the deck, and that’s all it takes to alert and scare away the ever so sensitive bone fish. So in that respect I anticipate catching more and scaring less fish.
I was surprised how easily it hosed clean, even fish scales washed out. It’s also great on my feet and back especially noticeable in the open fishermen. I recommend this product and think you too will be glad you installed it on your deck.

Prior to the DMF product I had carpeting that always stayed wet and even radiated offensive orders, now it’s clean and safe, and looks amazing!
